PRE SPRING 21

Thinking about the realities of the great British weather in spring and wanting to make clothes that are just as at home pottering in your garden or sipping a ‘G and T’ at dusk on the terrace, I took my inspiration from the glory of the English Country Garden and it’s famous female gardeners through history. Gertrude Jekyll, Vita Sackville West, Rosemary Verey to name but a few. Infused with unfussy elegance and something for every type of British Spring weather these clothes are wardrobe staples that will see you through February’s chill and on into balmy June. Choose from wool jersey separates worn with the ultimate trench in showerproof cotton thrown on top. Or floral cotton dresses with welly boots that you’ll swap later for sandals. Informal corduroy jumpsuits and pinafore dresses are equally happy worn with woolly socks and clogs which can be discarded later for something daintier.
